Extreme Reach Expands Canadian Talent and Payroll Operations to Service Growing Entertainment Industry

Addressing increasing TV and film production in Canada and its advertising needs, company adds services for payroll and production support; new hires for talent management

 TORONTO, ONTARIO – December 13, 2018 – Extreme Reach today announced the expansion of its entertainment-related services in the Canadian market, a move that addresses the needs of the country’s growing TV and film production industry and the accompanying advertising needs for those productions.

Extreme Reach Crew Services, the third largest Employer of Record (EOR) in North America, is adding Toronto-based operations for the first time. The division, which offers payroll, health services and accounting solutions that address the unique needs of production companies and crew, will be led by entertainment agency veterans Paul Thorpe and Olimpia Shuster. Thorpe has over 20 years of production payroll experience, most recently serving as Director of Payroll Operations for Ease Entertainment. Shuster, formerly Director of Canadian Operations for Ease Entertainment, has spent 20 years in the film and television industries supporting clients across Canada in all aspects of payroll.

In addition to adding Crew Services to the Toronto team, Extreme Reach has expanded its Canadian Talent division that manages Talent & Rights and Business Affairs for brands and their agencies. The two new members of the Talent team, Rebecca Torres and Veronica Ly, come to Extreme Reach from Talent Payment Services (TPS). Torres and Ly will serve as Senior Account Manager and Talent Account Manager, respectively.
